For those who'd like to have a little try before committing to a course
Meet the bee Experience
Many folk wonder what it's like to be hands on - or should I say hands in a beehive. It is a fairly daunting prospect when all said and done as everything about the bee says 'leave me alone, I'm to busy for you to mess with me'. But in reality they really are passive little creatures when handled correctly. The solution for many is to book a session on one of our Meet the Bee Days. There can't be an 'open door' policy as we do need to limit numbers so the uninitiated can stay calm and not feel rushed.
There's a little theory time to prepare you on what to look for, a little practice on some hive parts to set you up for jerk-free fluid moves and then it's time for you to be blown away with a hands-on close-up view of the most sophisticated social insect you'll ever meet!

Meet the Bee sessions are available on a 1-2-1 basis, overall duration is 20-25 minutes. Groups can be accommodated with proportionately longer session duration.
